The MONO sauna kitsets, from $9,900 for the Small MONO Sauna and $13,900 for the Large MONO Sauna, are made with solid horizontal interlocking timber as they have been made in Finland for hundreds of years.

All our Sauna kitsets come with everything from the floor up to roofing material, double glazing, benches, sauna stove (HARVIA BC60) and even a bucket and ladle to get you started.

Talk to us if you have any questions, we have lived in Finland (one of us is Finnish!) and been in hundreds of different saunas. Every family has their own sauna culture, there are no fixed rules.
Overview
Your Nordic Spaces kit includes everything you will need to construct your sauna from the floorboards up to the ceiling boards, including timber doors and double-glazed windows. All of the timber is kiln dried slow growing Nordic Spruce used for centuries in construction throughout northern Europe.
To finish your Sauna, you will need to add the following items:

Foundation – simply lay 3x100mm x 100mm Pine H4 fence posts on the ground on your courtyard, deck or grass and construct your Sauna on top. For a more permanent sauna lay a concrete base or install timber piles, bearers and joists.

Insulation – Solid wood provides insulating properties however we recommend adding ceiling insulation, especially if you are in a colder location and haven't upgraded to the woodfired sauna heater. We highly recommend PIR insulation, if using batt products (which we don't recommend), it is critical to use a moisture barrier and air gap between your ceiling lining.

Timber coatings – because the Sauna timber is untreated it is important to apply a product to the exterior to preserve the condition of your Sauna. We recommend OSMO breathable paint and oil products for the MONO Sauna kits or any other quality natural oils, stains or paints. Must be reapplied following manufacturer's instructions.

Electrical wiring and fittings
The delivery time for stock items is within a week and 14 - 20 weeks if it is a custom order. All our non-stock items can be customised to suit your wishes including extra windows and you can customise the wall construction to 70mm, 92mm or even 140mm+ thick solid timber.
